In-depth monitoring and analysis of all major systems and components built into the wind generator is the most successful method for early detection of faults, which on its turn allows for proper preventative maintenance, resulting in overall lower downtimes and service costs.

Advanced Wind Services developed its own concept of management of WTG consisting of 24/7 monitoring, optimization and pro-active management characterized with reaction times of under two hours, analysis and reporting of all key performance indicators for each WTG under management.

The active remote management allows the rectification of over 70% of the total number of stops within the first hour of downtime and greatly contributes to an average of 98,50% contractual energetic availability for the WTGs under our management.

Rotor blades inspection and repair

The blades are constantly subjected to the negative effects of the environment. Damages from lightning, hailstorms, icing, if not rectified on time, can lead to major failures.

Our blade technicians are certified for works at height with years of experience in the field, well equipped and able to perform full scope of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repairs of the towers, blades, and lightning protection systems.

Adequate and timely preventative maintenance of all systems and components built into the wind generator is the most successful method for securing the engineering integrity of the wind turbine, resulting in overall lower downtimes and service costs.

Our technicians perform all required annual and semi-annual maintenance including replacement of all parts subject to wear and tear of the WTG and the auxiliary infrastructure according to the specifications and requirements from the manufacturers.

Service, repair and replacement

Under our service portfolio we secure efficient presence of our service teams on the wind farm, management of spare part stock and the full scope of scheduled and unscheduled activities including:

Repair and replacement of large components (power transformer, generator, gearbox, main bearing, rotor blades).
Repair and replacement of components of the pitch and yaw systems.
Full scope of service and repair work on gearboxes.
Repair of all electric, electronic, or mechanical failures.
